Here we have mom Peanut, daughter Hanna and dad Bean. These dachshunds were a joy to paint, although at first it was a challenge because I wasn’t able to have a single photograph with all three dogs in the best pose. I took three separate photos and combined them to achieve this lovely look. I wanted to place Bean on the ‘outside’ of his family as the protector, and Hanna surrounded by her parents. My clients were delighted with this special portrait.
